James Franklin Rinehart aka Uncle Jim born, 1921

I lived with my Uncle Jim during the year 1970 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio as a result of my running away from home in my troubled youth.

Uncle Jim was one of the influences in my life that helped me keep out of trouble in those teenage years and continued to guide me through life. He enrolled me in Cuyahoga Falls Christain Academy, made me go to the Church of Latter Day Saints (Morman) almost every day, and all the other things that a 13 year old boy couldn't possible prioritize ;) My fondest memories did include him taking us out to the Islays Ice cream parlor very often, and I never argued for that adventure.

As the years passed, I grew to respect and try to live the values which he lived by example and taught me in those days of my youth! Although a few things like drinking coffee, I still fail at.

Uncle Jim gave me his WWII Good Conduct Medal when the year was over and I went back to live with my father.. my Uncle Jim has always been one of my Heros!
